My wife doesn't get to ride in my evo that often (I've had it since Jan 31st) and she's only rode in it 3 times. She absolutely loves it though, I took her on some nice twisties (we have plenty in PA), and she would be talking and I'd cut a corner and I could hear her breath being knocked out because of the G forces.

bah, you guys need to look harder. we're out there. my boyfriend gets frustrated cause his best time in his sti is a 13.0 and i pull a 12.9 in my evo.

Man, I'd really like to help ya out - especially since I'm the closest Evo to ya (11 & Gratiot area.) But...

Wife & I just had our new baby on 03/23/05: she wants me to stay home as much as possible for the next few weeks, and keep any, ahem... 'spirited driving' down to a minimum (for a while, at least )

I'll run this by her again in a few days - in the meantime, if you happen to see a Lightning Yellow w/a babyseat - that's me!

My GF lives near 19 and Garfield. I wouldn't mind giving you guys a ride if I'm not too busy that weekend. She comes back from vacation that saturday, so not sure how busy I will be. I have a good friend on 15 and Garfield with an STi, if she wants a ride in that, too.

Pm me your plan and I will try to help you out. Maybe if EvoGLH can actually get out for a bit... she can ride in a LY Evo and a WW Evo.

I'm usually over on the east side to visit my parents, I'll have to check to see if I'm free. Maybe EvoGLH, rsboy, and I can all get together, then she'll have the chance to be in a GSR and MR.

HAHA - that's something I can't wait for! My oldest boy (now 17 1/2) couldn't pronounce the name of the 300hp Dodge Omni GLH Turbo I drove when he was young: "DA-DA VROOM VROOM" was the exact phrase he used to describe that car & ask to go for a ride!

Almost as good to hear is my 10-year old telling people that riding in the back seat of my Evo is "...like riding a roller coaster."

Man I never thought I'd get so many responces, especially over one night (even though half of them were about 'test driving' my girlfriend LMAO).

Anyways, if anyone can do it on her actual birthday (a week after Easter) it would be awesome. I'm guessing sometime in the afternoon so nobody has to interfere with lunch or dinner . We'd meet somewhere by her house, perhaps 711 at 15 and Garfield or somewhere, I'll look around, so I could drop off my car and hop in. Then we'd pull in her drive way (or line up in her driveway if we get a mini-meet lol) and take her for a spin. Perhaps down for a quick loop on 696 and back so not too far. Those are just my ideas, but of course it's up to whoever is driving since it's their car and everything.

A steak dinner might be a bit deep for my pockets, but how does some McDonalds sound?

RSboy, is ur friend's STi white? I see one parked around sometimes. Unfortunately, that's the only STi I ever see, and only once in a great while. Similar with the EVO, I've only seen about 2 or 3. I never get to see these things!

Yeah, if we could get a group together maybe we could all meet somewhere and you just "happen" to bring her by... then she can get a ride.
