I'm looking to get in touch with some Evo 8 and/or MR owners. I've got a few questions and would like to eventually be able to ride in the passenger seat of an Evo.

The reason being my budget. I could get a Lancer Ralliart by the end of next summer... or I could save up a few more years and pick up a Evo VIII/MR or a Evo IX/MR...

I really just want to see firsthand (well, secondhand) how the Evo feels, and then I could just test drive a normal Lancer at my dealer.

I'm sold on a Lancer, I just don't know if I want to pick up a Ralliart edition next year, or wait til I'm almost out of college to pick up a MR.

Any suggestions?

 

We meet at AMS on fridays and there is a meet coming uo on the 1st.. plus the HUGE IN meet on May 7th... Check out all the threads and come out to some meets

 

There is also a BBQ and install day on the 21st of May in Crystal Lake there is a thread in this forum anyone is welcome.

I actually have my Evo with me at work today so if you see this post before 5ish in the evening PM me, I can probably take you for a spin (although I am not out of break in period yet). My office is on Kennedy just south of Main street in Schererville.

 

why are all the evos/oz's coming out after I move out of Indiana...

I believe it.. I was the only one out there.. always having to meet up with IL peeps... Not that i dont luv u guys!... But anyway.. then finally Andy moved to schererville.. and then I moved out.. and all these evos . mr's and oz's are popping up.. just my luck.. but chi-town still takes a meet once in awhile at BW's in Schererville or Merrivlle... I use to live in CP!! Crown Point for the rest of u!

 

Ahh, CP I have a brother that lives there, I also have a few customers in the city. However, I'll agree with you the area is kinda sleepy.

 

What business... I love the chocolate cafe in valpo.. I think i am going to make a stop there today!

As for the Evos, The northern part of Indiana does seem to lack them in numbers. They are there, just are few and far between.

Let me know if you want a ride in a '04 OZ with Evo interior, It does change the whole feel of the car! Now if only I could snag a 4G63 to complete the feeling....

I am right in Glenwood, shoot me an e-mail. This is no stock EVO however. Especially with cams and a tune, it is like night and day. Methanol coming soon!
