pick up a new SAFC on ebay for like 265.. thats how much i paid for a new one... will make a big diff in the fc department... and as for boost... peaking at 26.. they are a lil to outside the safe zone for the mods... dial yours in to peak at 21 and stay at 21... unless you run some race gas or alky dont try going north of that... with the alky i can peak it at 26 , 28 if i wanna push it..

The difference is they have intake and exhuast. Has anyone else experienced this in Colorado? Is the key to raising your boost adding intake, exhaust, both, or something else? I have a Utec, but was going to wait until Dynoflash comes out to put it in. I was thinking I could raise the fuel cut point as long as I wasn't running lean. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can run 25 PSi in COLORADO. Any one can as long as you use Race gas you ll be fine I ve been for a while there are a few of use that are running 28-30 PSI supporting mods of course ... But if you ant got 100 oct in the tank better keep it at 19-22 PSi to be save with supporting MOds..

yes thier is one guy locally that runs like 29 stock headstuds.... which is completly worthless due to the fact that.... after 25 psi u are completly out of the stock turbo's efficency range.. and are just blowing hot air and will just make less power..

No I was being generous, I would say on a perfect 50 degree day and the best driver in the world you could see that time.

Yeah that would be crazy on the stock turbo. I think you and I should run about 26 psi on Wednesday if weather holds up, on race gas of course. Only question is what kind of gas we run.

Id say the guy at 29 has a faulty guage considering one ( like mentioned above) its out of the efficientcy range and two its not possible considering you can only hit 28.... in the stock turbo ...

I know a guy here in colorado who on a completely stock Evo ran a 14.1. He had a great 60ft time too. i think a 1.6 or 1.7. So a high 13 in colorado is doable on stock Evo, but you better be a damn good driver.

I think elevation plays a major role on the Evo. I could only hit 19PSI at a track in Nevada at about 4000'. When I got back home (around 250' above sea level) I was hitting my normal 22 PSI. I could only run a 13.4 that day.

Bud we are in Colorado though that is like comparing apples to oranges. 5800 Ft above seal level compared to sea level.
