So FYI, I wouldn't recommend buying from them, they are friggin retards/dicks. I sent another friend as a referral to potentially look at the red evo and they treated him like complete crap.
That's why I controlled the conversation with those jerks. They didn't understand a word I said about the Evo and didn't even really know what the Evo was. They knew I was knowledgable about the car, since I was already driving a modified Evo that I built. I was basically telling them what to do since they didn't have a clue about the Evo when it came to mechanical issues. I'm the one that told them it needed a new clutch and they were not really qualified to even work on it. The Sales Manager just tried to blow me off though. I knew they would screw it up. They wanted $23,000 for them and I told them I would not buy one since there was mechanical problems that they could not guarantee that they would fix correctly. I said I could spend a little more and go up the street and buy a new one that had not been ragged on.

It's bad. A lot of roads were closed when I left for work this morning (Rt. 2, 615, 306 and 44 come to mind). I took a straight shot to work, where I've been stuck all day, so I'm not really the best source, sadly.

Do you know how the daily driveability of the Xtreme Duty Clutch will be?

I will interested in joining you guys next week if I can get my car back together by then.

I think you'll be running pretty low 12s once you drop your 60 fts to around 1.7-1.8....
We were there for a few hours. 5 runs is plenty. We ran about 3 took a break then the last 2. We could of done 8 runs if we wanted to.

I'm assuming it will be same as the Street Disc Clutch Kit MB7-HDSS which I had before considering the Xtreme still incorperates a Street Disc but beefier pressure plate.

What are you putting back together on your car? Let me know if you want to come on Wednesday.

Yeah it was great, haha. I was stranded at a friends house all night. I tried to get out of his street with the evo but the water was above my knees so the exhaust would have been submerged in water...... KAA BOOM!

Ka boom? If you were lucky it just wouldn't start because of the exhaust not being able to get out... if you're unlucky, water would have gotten in your engine and you could kiss it good-bye.

Im fairly new here as well, i've got an Silver 03 VIII, no ralliart mods though, just some Burschur Racing mods. I actually live in the Springboro/Franklin area and there are a few Evos in the area. There is a new Blue MR that works at one of the businesses off of US 123 east of I-75 and I just saw a yellow Evo in Miamisburg on 741 when I was going to the Dayton mall yesterday.

Anyone going to Mid-Ohio next weekend for AMA Superbike racing?

Should be tight!

Hopefully those Italian bikes will kick some tail as usual.

Other than that, the next big thing is the DSM shootout on the 11th. Haven't seen some of you since the debacle at Thompson.
