Hey guys I have SSL package (supposedly 
) but no amp for my speakers.... When I was installing the radio at best buy (a while back) they guy told me that mine was the first Evo that didn't have an amp (the only evo that he worked on) - imagine how it felt 
. Well he told me I should have one and it should be underneath my passenger seat? If I don't, then how come my Evo is SSL (I;ve got power - sunroof etc). Speakers are Ok but not great, and I was thinking maybe getting factory amp, but then will it work?

Do you have leather seats? My car has power / sunroof / HID - but it is not SSL and does not have the amp/sub - If you dont have leather then I would say the car doesnt have the SSL package.
Fob is right, the package didn't come out until like 2005(?)
I don't even think there was an upgraded sound system offered for the 2003s.
Besides the little things like canards, oem gauges, pedal covers, parking lever, and shift knob the only main options for the 2003s were rear wing and sunroof.
