I trailered the car up there on Thursday. Keith did a great job - I picked up a ton of mid-range, and peak torque hits before 3700 rpm.

damn, i think my car put down more power than urs did last summer
and i tried so hard, was still 2~3 seconds behind us (mines' making about 315whp on mustang dyno)

now u got more power, i guess i'll never catch ur time...arh~~~

give me a ride if there's a chance too hehe
i really want to find places to cut down 1 or 2 more seconds other than being more brave at turn 1...lol

 

I should have been more clear, the Mustang numbers were 308/318. Better gas will get me some more power up top, so our power is probably about the same. You were making more than me last summer though.

Look me up on saturday or sunday and I'll take you out for a session, no problem.

 

Wow, you guys are going to rage on me. Well, not really because AA won't be there on Friday and 992 is in TT, but I am probably near the upper 1:55+.

Oh well, FWD + itty-bitty brakes + 225 street tires all around + n00b behind the wheel will do that

 

That's still pretty good. My DSM is like 225 at the wheels on Pure Tuning's dyno, SAFC tuned by Keith a few years ago. I'm running a small 16g at 18lbs. Not a bad compromise. I wanted it to run safe... 95+k on the clock.

Do you mind if I ask your mods? Just wondering because my Evo put like 265ish on their dyno a few months ago with turbo-back, drop in, and flash.

 

Blue evo 8 on 77 south dark tint and it looked like bronze or gold wheels.... i was heading up 77 north in white evo 8

Mods are:
3" t-back, ebay o2 housing, stock '05 turbo, 680's, injen intake and uicp, GSC cams (prototype grind before the S1's), walbro, 20psi on crappy 93. It's going to be a long hard summer, so we opted to be a little conservative on the tune. Keith said some better gas would wake it up a bit more, maybe 312-315 whp peak. The power in the midrange puts a smile on my face every time I step on the go pedal.

Don't worry about the times either, I will be massively disappointed if I am not under 1:40. You will have a lot of fun in HPDE3 though; if I get a chance I'll put a stopwatch on you.
