Is there an autocross this sunday? I should have my new battery tommorow and I would like to make it out to watch at least once this year
Not with the Porsche guys. They may have one more next month (21st?) depending on weather, but probably won't post either way until that Wed.

It's not nerve racking out there. You either stand far away or next to a light post

Man, I really need to get my car out there. How do the stock pads hold up at Nelson? Some new pads would surely be a good idea, I'd think....
I've only been on a track three times (twice at Nelson with a '90 CRX Si and once at Gingerman with an '01 S4), so I'm no expert. I have no track or auto-x experience with my Evo yet...

Nelson is pretty easy on brake pads, stock should be more than good enough.
I was going to go tomorrow but there is a track rental here at Norwalk too and we are going to test this RWD Toyota with the 4G63 in it.

As you noticed, I have the blue stuff. I ordered the car bare bones and that's how it came. I didn't like the blue bezel at first but have gotten used to it, and now do like it.

My car came with the silver bezel and the damn thing rattled!

YEAHHHH!!!! Got my car back last night. A little cut, alittle paint, some siebon, act clutch, Gruppe-s flywheel, contact from Alex (EVO8) and phone call to EvoDave.
And i get my car back from SLICK MOTORSports and i am happy. Will try and get some pics up this week.
My clutch was going out and my wife backed into my car. So all is fixed now.
