***Official Ohio Chat Thread***
I am not trying to debate with you, but just so you knew I wasn't pulling that out of my ***... but that's another topic all together.

Few more questions now that it's a big narrowed down:
How much boost would be required from my 05's turbo?
As far as fuel, are 680 injectors and a 255 fp adiquite (post tune)?
264 cams aren't agressive enough?
Grasis.

Guys,
I am vaguely thinking about trying to get my Evo up to 300 whp on BR or Pure Tuning's dyno - which read virtually identical. However, the area under the curve(s) is more important to me than the peak number.
Few questions/ comments:
- Do I need an intake?
- Is this possible on the stock VIII turbo w/ 10.5?
- I prefer not to have to get cams.
- Less $ is always better
Here are the two mod paths I was looking at:
1)
Evo IX turbo
Evo IX turbo install kit
HKS 264 cams (?)
680 injectors
Tune
Intake (?)
2)
680 injectors
Intake
Tune
264 Cams
FMIC & Piping
I was going to do suspension and wheels/ tires, but since I drive the car in the snow I am not too sure about lowering it right now. I don't want to get new whees until the car needs new tires (will probably go 18's) and I think the OE Yokos will last me another summer.
Anyway, give me some advice.

Check out my mod path, I'm at about where you're looking at per where I ended up last year. I'm still running the stock turbo but running almost everything else modded except alky.
If you're going with an Evo IX turbo or equivalent 20g you will easily be easily over 300whp on a MD.
With the stock turbo, you will definitely needs cams....
Ok, well if you've been on both dyno's with no changes that's good enough for me.
Your car, does NOT need 680cc injectors with the stock turbo. Don't change them.
Do an open element filter and drop the cat. The 02 housing is also something I forgot, for sure bolt one of those on, easy hp for the money there.
I'd say with that complete combo it will take 93 octane and 22-23 psi of boost to hit 300 on our dyno.

Here's your garage, though.
He didn't know that the EvolutionM.net registry (or VbGarage) still worked.
You can see details about people's car in it. For example, here's his car. And here's my car.
