Its up at Spaghatti Warehouse by the Aeros stadium. we go up around 6 or 7 and hangout till about 930 or so depends on how many people up there. hopefully it warms back up this weekend aint lookin too good.
Hey, I saw a yellow Evo last night at around 9pm stopped on the side of the freeway at the end of the 271N entrance ramp getting on at Mayfield Road. I was in my white Evo and beeped as I passed by. I thought about stopping to see if there was a problem, but figured that would be obnoxious. Just wondered if it was anybody on here. I hope everything was ok!

And Chris, that sucks! But think of it like this, what the hell else can break on that thing. It's going to be a new car pretty soon.
Guys,
I am vaguely thinking about trying to get my Evo up to 300 whp on BR or Pure Tuning's dyno - which read virtually identical. However, the area under the curve(s) is more important to me than the peak number.
Few questions/ comments:
- Do I need an intake?
- Is this possible on the stock VIII turbo w/ 10.5?
- I prefer not to have to get cams.
- Less $ is always better
Here are the two mod paths I was looking at:
1)
Evo IX turbo
Evo IX turbo install kit
HKS 264 cams (?)
680 injectors
Tune
Intake (?)
2)
680 injectors
Intake
Tune
264 Cams
FMIC & Piping
I was going to do suspension and wheels/ tires, but since I drive the car in the snow I am not too sure about lowering it right now. I don't want to get new whees until the car needs new tires (will probably go 18's) and I think the OE Yokos will last me another summer.
Anyway, give me some advice.

**I don't know if that is true or not, I don't know that we've ever had a car here then there back to back. I got the point though as to how much power you want.
Few questions/ comments:
- Do I need an intake?
**I'd say yes, it's easy HP.
- Is this possible on the stock VIII turbo w/ 10.5?
**Yes, the EVO9 turbo makes no more power than the EVO8 if they are both in 10.5 housings.
- I prefer not to have to get cams.
**Then it will be very hard to make 300 on our dyno.
- Less $ is always better
**Agreed.

**The IX turbo is a waste of money. So lets' move to Step 2.

680 injectors
Intake
Tune
264 Cams
FMIC & Piping
**I'd say intake, turbo back (if you don't have it already-catless will be best) 272 cams, FMIC, EVO9 BOV and upper i/c pipe if you get a good one and there are only a few, all of which will require the small battery. If you don't do a kit that needs a small battery just do the EVO9 BOV and leave the stock pipes. If you do a FMIC do one of the best ones and don't waste your time on anything else.

Thanks, Dave.
I guess I should have specified I already have a BR TBE (less o2 housing) w/ cat & bullet, drop in fliter (Green), and Dynoflash tune on BR's dyno. Also a MBC and 255 fp just to keep things safe.
Yielded ~ 262ish hp as is.
