Why don't you sell the one you have and get the SMC kit, make it easy.

The SMC kit doesn't have a failsafe (to my knowledge) and I'm already kind of worried about running it in the first place. I just wanna keep my car in one piece lol. Already have to dish out the $$$ for a new clutch and turbo

The SMC kit has a low light and spray light. They both tell you what you need to know. The tune shouldn't be so aggressive that if the alky fails you lose an engine anyway. Good luck with the kit you have.

Don't get me wrong Dave, I respect you and your company. I love the work you have done with my car so far. It just seems from what I've read that too many people have had problems with meth w/o a failsafe. I may still go with the SMC, although I think I just need to read up a little more on how to keep things "safe"

I have had the SMC kit on my car since BR started selling them ( 3 years ago? ) I have never run into a situation where anything failed while driving and Steve@SMC is awesome in the customer service dept. If you have any questions/issues he will do anything he can to make things right.

+1

Also there are options with failsafes and the SMC kit. However, all of the ones I know of involve a stand alone ECU.

There are known failsafes on some Aquamist systems but AFAIK they are all DIY and not simple.

Me, my trust, and my money are on Buschur and SMC.

evonit3m4re, the parts on your car have little to do with AFR's. At cruise they should be around 14.7-15.0 for good mileage. At WOT it will depend on who tuned it and what they were seeing. Myself I usually tune in the low to mid 11:1's.

Yea I'm averaging between 14.8 and 15.4 AFR on 12 lbs of boost... but not much differance when I'm running 26 lbs, I guess I'm not sure what you mean by WOT, but Kyle from deipro set me up... thought I would ask the BEST to get the best response, thanks...
