p0300 blows. I had that issue with my 2.0 and stock ecu

really?? i got tuned at buschur but i still have the problem...

 

Well, I heard that Al was fixing those too.

I had mine pop up a lot, especially at the track. The first time the car was tuned I would only get it at the track. And then after the second tune it never came back. The last time I was at Buschur's, David tweeked couple things in my tune and still no code.

damn. yea mine pops up constantly especially on the highway. it sux. ill have to keep that in mind next time i get tuned. hopefully they can get rid of it. but i plan on going ems soon anyways... but it sure would be nice to be rid of it now lol

Hmm, I wish. But it was for my friend. He's up and down about getting an evo.

 

yeah man thats what it is, the code keeps popping up p0300 and its telling me that it is randomly miss firing. so you guys say that it is from the new clutch install then. because i was worried that i f#$% something up.

 

so then theres really nothing i can do until i get it tuned again?

 

yea its from the clutch cause of the harmonics. like i said the same happened with me. but yea unfortunatly thats all u can do really... that sux...

 

Just found this thread i'm a newb to the forum and always wanted an Evo finally got mine Blue Evo X might catch me driving around Parma/Akron. Still love the Evo 9 MR hopefully will add it to my garage in a year or two.
