***Official SW Ohio Chat Thread***
Weather was great, car was great, and the brake duct kit worked great. I don't have anywhere near enough tire under my car, and it showed. I finished 5th out of 6 both days. THE car to have in TTA is a Z06; I won't be able to catch them this year at all. I threw the car sideways for 2 straight days and still ended up 3 seconds off the pace. I am in first place in the region though, for now.

We appreciate your interest in Bluegrass Motorsports Club & Road Course. I would be more than happy to talk with you about The Founder's Club in further detail. The information you heard regarding membership financing is semi-true. The Founder's Club is the only membership where financing is not available. Currently the website has the same amount of information as the printed material, so if you get some free time, please take a look at the Features & Benefits, and Amenities available to Founder's Club. I would also recommend you take some time to look at the track layout, facilities, and private development. Here are the links to get you started.

The Founder's Club initiation fee is fixed at $100,000 with no annual dues for life. Another membership level that might be an option for you is Team Bluegrass. Team Bluegrass has a $25,000 initiation fee, with a pre-construction discount of 20%. This membership has dues of $300 per month. Both the Founder's Club and Team Bluegrass have carte blanche access with virtually unlimited track time. Once we break ground in October, the initiation fees for the other membership levels will increase, and The Founder's Club will be closed. If you are truly interested in The Founder's Club at Bluegrass there are a couple of exciting opportunities to get together next month.
In response to your question regarding guest passes. The guest passes are daily guest passes per person. The Founder's Club will receive 25 guest passes upon initiation, and 8 per each calendar year. The passes afford the guest the same privileges as a member, including track time.
You are invited to visit the Bluegrass Motorsports Club tent at the 2007 Ault Park Concours d'Elegance. This is a great opportunity to meet the team (including track designer, Paxton Waters), and discuss the project and membership at Bluegrass in further detail. The honorary chairman for this year's event is British racing legend Vic Elford. All proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation. Please visit http://www.ohioconcours.com for more information.
It has been an exciting couple of weeks since the project became public, and we thought you would be interested in the latest updates at Bluegrass.
In terms of our timeline, we are on track to break ground on October 15th, with plans to open in Mid-2008. Even though there are many variables in developing a $16M facility, we are confident we will continue to stay on track. Please visit http://www.drivebluegrass.com/facilities/track.html to get a glimpse of the 3.26-mile, multi-configuration road course with over 100 feet of elevation change. Please remember that we are continuing to work with Paxton Waters to improve and perfect the track and facility layout to bring you a world-class road course.
We are pleased to announce The BMW Store in Cincinnati has been the first dealership to step up and sponsor Bluegrass Motorsports Club. Additionally, we have formed an agreement with Piloti as the Official Driver’s Shoe at Bluegrass. Along with other amenities in the member’s welcome kit, each Founder’s Club and Team Bluegrass member will receive a free pair of Piloti driving shoes of their choice.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns. It would be great if you can make it to the Concours on June 10th. I will add you to our e-mail list to keep you apprised of updates at Bluegrass.

C5Z or C6?
I'll offer up my Forgelines to use for a day at Grattan. I think there was only one car in TTS when I looked at the results and he was running 1:16's. Not sure what kind of car it was.
Dave
Nick - any more mods and I jump into the shark pool. I don't have the coin to play there. The vettes were c5 z06's with big Hoosiers. Not much else they can do with the car and stay in class. The fastest TTA time of the weekend was a low 1:17, best I could muster was a 1:20.2
Eli, I may take you up on that if I can get my fenders rolled by then. What tires are on them??
The TTS car was a Raft c5 z06, he was in the high 1:15's at one point...

Ok while youare all out there having fun....I need som HELP ! !
Dawna and I bought a new house and she is expected to move on June 2nd. We need people and trucks to help. I won't be home until the end of July so I am begging for you all to give us a hand. She will have all the beer and pizza you can cram down your throats while the move is going on.
Please let me know so that I can tell her you all are coming. We don't have a lot of big stuff, but Dawna is a pack rat of the little things.
I appreciate any assistance you all can give.

That TTS C5Z is Danny Popp, he had faster times than the TTU cars at Mid Ohio both days. As long as he is running NASA TT I would stay out of his class.
The C5Z is a damn nice track car, but I can't get over the hillbilly stigma attached to those cars. Every redneck that makes a dollar buys a Vette. Oh well, I'm sure one of these days I'll break down and buy one, but for now I am fighting the feeling.
If you are considering stepping up to a larger wheel/tire combo I might be interested in your tires Greg.
