That would be great if we could make it work. At this point, from what's on their websites, I think Beechmont Mitsu is the only dealer near Cincy with a Ralliart on their lot, new or used, and I haven't been able to get over to see it during normal business hours.

My weeks/weekends are a mess right now with kids tball/baseball games, but post here or shoot me an email with some Saturday's or Sunday's that could work for you and we'll see what we can put together. Would love to be able to see both the Ralliart and MR side by side, but if that isn't possible, that's OK.

Thanks.

cool man, thanks!

I just ordered a stock 9 bov to swap back in, and im also going to take my TB off to replace the shaft seals which are most likely leaking, and see how well the TB plate is sealing while im at it.

I do need some evoscan lessons, can I pay by the hour? lol

I'll be up in fairfield all summer, I hit up wake nation just about every other day

Hey Brad, I took my car up to shepherd transmissions to get that noise checked out and get my Diff pins replaced. John drove my car and said that noise was that springs in the clutch. He said he couldn't recommend a clutch that wouldn't make that noise other than a stock one. I didn't know clutch chatter could be so loud. I still not totally convinced that its just simple clutch chatter. Maybe when they crack the tranny they will find somthing

Dayton Locals??

Anyone in the Dayton area that does their own work?

Having all my tools at my parents place in Massachusetts and not having a garage can really kill me at times. In the next few months, I have some little things I want to do. Little things like brakes, a downpipe, front lip, maybe even some detailing etc. Paul has helped me out in the past, but he lives over an hour away, and more importantly is currently thousands of miles away. I can do some of my own work, but would definitely be interested if someone knows their way around the evo as well.

Anyone care to help? I could definitely throw some in some cash money.

I could help you out. I'm in Dayton right now. I leave tomorrow though. If you want help just give me a shout. 859-536-9108. I've been around Paul many times and helped him out with some stuff. I'm no where near on his level though. I go to Sinclair and I have finals tomorrow. Should be done with bother before noon.

I wouldn't mind helping either. I have a few tools in my Parents garage in West Chester. I'm moving out of this apartment in a month and will then acquire my own garage (woot woot!) so I could be of better help then.

Well the X is going to be a lot different than the 8/9 because the turbo is up front by the radiator and on the X its back by the firewall.

Buying an evo from the dealership is like screwing a hooker with no condom.

Interesting. I know some of the noise is clutch chatter but that can't be all the noises. Especially the one in the rear. Keep me updated on what he finds out. We're very curious now.

So do you live up in this area now? (I just noticed that your avatar says NKY.)

$6/hour?! Thats amazing. I work right near airway rd and smithville, and live by the Greene. Sounds very possible. Again, I'm not ready to move on anything right now... I just know there are a few things on the list that I want to do now that the weather is warming up. (However now the constant rain needs to stop!!!) In a side note, I bottomed out on the grass area of my work parking lot and did a little damage to my lip... may be in the market for one of those.

How about a meet soon? Meet at the Greene?

You guys that need help and a garage to work in, I am always willing to help and meet other Evo owners. I live in Wilmington about 30 mins. from Dayton. I have quite a few tools and very mechanically inclined. I also have a plasma cutter and welders. If you need help tuning I cannot do that yet. Right now I have my 96 turbo Mustang in the garage but I can move it out. We also have a few car guys that meet up on sat. nights, we have 2 AWD dsm's and several mustangs and a TT Camaro that dynoed 889 hp, but the Camaro is currently down. Just let me know, love to help anybody.
