Hi guys. Im out in the Middle East right now. . .like Dubai middle east. Anyway, I live in Columbus and I really would love to get to know everyone in this community. I haven't bought my Evo yet which means im a super noob, but thats also another reason I'm posting.

I am dying to get a 2008 EvoX MR found one that I really want but I don't want to make and noob mistakes when buying my first Evo. If you guys could give pointer tips or any advice really I would much appreciate it.

When all is said and done I really want to meet everyone and hopefully make some new friends

 

I think we should definitely plan something for the summer. However, I am busy every, freakin, weekend until early August.

 

agreed, im tuning this upcoming weekend, but netime after that should b good, now a few weeks in august i wont b able to cuz me and the wife r havin the baby, so we def need to get sumthin in before then lol

 

anyone in my area (beavercreek/fairborn) with a tactrix cable help me with my misfiring issue before monday? ive changed the plugs and im loss with out another set of wires to help me diagnose the problem... it idles with misfire but wont drive or build boost at all. i have checked for vacuum leaks and haven't found any yet. someone anyone im willing to pay if you find the problem.

okay problem fixed... low fuel pressure cause of fuel filter and the rubber gromet on the intake of the fuel pump

 

anyone come up with a location for a meet around this area yet?

also anyone thinking about going to cruisefest?

 

sumone said sumthin about a grill out or sumthin like that, we need to do it soon tho, i thought about cruisefest until my wife said it would b a big mistake to go, i.e. the crowd and the ish that goes on..

 

Yeah I wouldnt take my car to cruise fest. I might go to see some **** though lol. I might put something together as far as a barbq and who ever wants to come can come.

 

What does everyone think about getting together on the weekend of the 28th/29th. I was thinking about somewhere like eastwood lake so we could have it out doors with plenty of space and picinic areas so we could cook out. Its pretty much a centralized area too near route 4 and 35 which are easily accessable from 675 or 75. If people are interested Ill go check it out and find a good place there with a decent parking setup. Its not that far for the Cinci and Columbus guys either.

 

I already have 6 people in for sure, so Im going to go over to eastwod sometime this week and pick out a good place for a bbq that has plenty of parking. From the people Ive talked to already would rather do it on Sunday the 29th too so thats the date. Ill probably go buy some dogs and burgers and have everyone else thats coming bring a side or soda. Ill post of the exact location in eastwood once I go up there.

 

I'll try to be there, depends on what time I get back from walk for life in michigan.

 

Im thinking every showone up around noonish and eat around 1 or so. Im not sure if thats too early for you gary. Im sure well be hanging out for a while

Alright so I went and checked out eastwood and there are plenty of places for a decent size group. I think were up to around 11 cars so far. If you want to bring your family there is plenty of room for kids to run around for those of you that have kids. There are two entrances to that park one for the lake and one is just the park. Were going to be in the park entrance not the lake and its a straight shot so there shouldnt be any problem finding us. If you plan on coming post up what your going to bring. Im going to bring the charcol, burgers, dogs, and paper plates. If you have some fold up chairs bring those too because some of the picnic areas only have 1 or 2 picnic tables at them. Ill post up what everyone is bring that has confirmed through text so we dont end up with 10 things of potato salad.
