Thanks for the tips....but I tried all of that. These ARE aluminum on the lower mounting sleeves. Fortunately the company (PIC) is phenomenal and is going to take care of it fore me. Sent them in today. I should have them back in a week or so.

As for the JICs, they are now art in my garage. Never again will I buy that junk again. You walk in my garage you see a highly polished cat back, some coil overs, a wing, some camber plates, carbon cam cover....all are art on the garage walls.

 

I understand they are aluminum on the cup, but im talking full aluminum threaded body.

Wow, such a big deal out of something so minor. We have regional forums for a reason, I realize for some it may be really hard to click on another forum and then post the link in this thread, but for many others on this forum it isn't.

I'm not going to sit here and argue with you because you're butthurt about the rules being enforced in your thread. Just about every regional thread has dealt with this. Hell some have dealt with it intelligently. Utah, instead of crying about the rules being enforced chose instead to just create a regional FS thread in the classifieds.

Smike did you see what happened? All CULVIIIER did was point out that Brian was not following the forum rules in his own thread.

The problem here was never the rule. But what good is a rule if the moderator enforces it but doesn't follow it in his own thread? Thats not setting a very good example for the members if you ask me.

Get over it.

It wasn't my thread, it was another regional thread created by me when another was terminated. There are probably close to a dozen other regional threads like it. Just like elsewhere in the forum we can't catch everything that happens only bits and pieces. Nobody was getting preferential treatment, it just wasn't caught while yours was. It's kind of like cops catching speeders, they never get all of them.

 

Brian is doing his job. 100% support him.

And for those who want to be childish and fail to see the hidden meaning to me posting here - continue on that path you will be issued infractions.
