MUT-III Scan Tool
Anyone in the SW Ohio area (Dayton, Cinci) have a MUT-III scan tool i could use/borrow for an Evo X? I'll pay generously. I just got a whole bunch of parts put on my car and I really need to bleed the ACD and evoscan can't do it yet for the X. The only way is with the MUT-III and I really don't want to have my evo towed to the dealership and have them do it. So if anyone has a MUT-III tool, or you know someone who does, please PM me, it would really really help me out a ton.

Thanks!

Thinkin' about it. I've driven with them before at Mid-Ohio and it was a blast. Bill's a nice guy.

I hadn't attended any events at all this year to save up for when Bluegrass opens, but since it looks like that's not going to happen this year I might try to squeeze a few in.

I went up to Kil last year with a group of cars. It was quite eventful with the drifting, car show, music, and drag racing. Unfortunately, I won't be around to attend.

Same for the past weekend where Paul had people over...I was up in my native Cleveland. Hopefully this out of town crap will be changing before the weather turns to crap.

Is there anything going on this weekend? I am planning on going to Edgewater tonight and maybe Tri-state tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure every 03-04 in existence is selling under $20k these days. You shouldn't have any trouble at all finding one in that price range. Stick with the 04s and save yourself a little headache. Just look in the classifieds here, craigslist, autotrader and cars.com.

04s have an updated ECU program that solves several issues the 03 have if you start modding them. It really does not matter since we have the capability to flash roms ourselves. I believe the 04s have a bit better power delivery though because of the 10.5 housing on the turbo. If you plan on upgrading the turbo any how this point is mute.

03s also have the 5th gear synchro issue. I imagine if you can find one with 50k miles or so that isn't grinding going into 5th then that particular car probably won't have the issue, but getting an 04 eliminates the issue.
