Nick, you will love that red. Port the hell out of the exhaust mani when you put the turbo on. Make that thing flow.

Bump to E85 and bam....500 whp easy.

Anyone looking for an extra set of VIII wheels? I have a set with worn out sumitomo tires that are taking up too much space. I will let them go for 300 bucks.
I got a spare manifold with it so I was going to grab a cheap air grinder at harbor freight today and go to town on it. He had FP port the turbine already. Looks like they barely touch it.

My green was claimed to be ported too....they really didn't do much. I "fixed" it though.

Get a carbide bit to hog that cast steel. It will take a few hours to get it all perfect. I recommend getting some sanding points too. Then you can each deep in the mani to smooth it all.

The dude lived in TN and he said he was really close to deals gap so you probably saw it.

Yeah you need to ditch that turbo. I never understood why anyone with a Evo would want to put on a tiny little single scroll DSM turbine.

I can't complain my car after the fix made well over 500whp on the DLL. Waxed on a 04 750 Gixxer and had never had a problem. But then again. Its pretty much 600whp on Buschurs Dyno or bust now.

What are you putting on it now? I'll be happy if my car traps 117 after the red (1 mph faster than the vette lolol). I learned my lesson building that stupid DSM. I keep a pic of it in my avatar so I never make that retarded mistake again.

I am more than likely going to buy Eric's HTA35 FullRace/Buschur Kit. That + E85 Should be fun.

I have been talking to Dave and we are going to try some new tricks on the stock ECU. I refuse to put anything on a credit card anymore so if I can't come up with the cash I won't be buying the kit. So for now the backup plan is to pickup the new FP Black if it falls through since my kit is already sold and being shipped out next week.

who do you guys recommend for a good conservative DD tune. Want to get my X tuned but dont want it to be too aggressive for daily driving use. I obviously know of buschur, but i hear he likes to tune a little lean for most other tuners. need your guy's input.

Buy a wide band and tune it yourself. It is pretty easy to do. Well, you will need a 2.0 tatrix cable too, and the free logging and flashing software.

Then you can learn to tune more and more as you add mods.

If I had a 2.0 cable I would hook you up.
