i dont know any of you enough. but i suppose thats all the more reason huh?
Is november 14th too soon?
I have a fun route to drive. We will start in DeJa Vu Park in Covington and make our way through northern kentucky. Nothing crazy, just a nice cruise for an hour or so then we stop and eat at our lunch destination. From there we can back track OR for those who are party poopers, hit the highway and make it back up to Cincinnati in approximately 35 minutes.
any interest? if so I will whip up a formal itinerary.

Hopefully we can get a bunch of us on this one. It would be fun. Plus...I need to show off my carbon fiber goodies. Guess I will wait a few more weeks to put the car in winter mode.
I will bring my laptop and do some basic tuning for people if they wish....sorry guys with the Xs, I don't have a 2.0 cable.
Speaking of winter mode.....I got a set of beat up milla miglia 1000 wheels with snows if anyone is interested. I also have a set of stock VIII wheels with some worn out sumi all seasons....both sets I will sell on the cheap.

Sounds like a great plan. I have no idea where that park is so directions would need to be included. Also, on your route, where would we be stopping for food? What time would everyone want to meet?

I kind of want to keep it Lancer/EVO only, but if it means a better turn out Im open to whatever. I really just want to meet more people with the same vehicle so can learn more about them. Right now I don't have any friends who know these things in detail.
we could call it, The Cincinnati All Wheel DRIVE.
make it annual. and for any AWD platform. Im thinking if we do that, we'll need to find some fun dirt roads
and put these things to good use. It would have to live up to its name of course.

Yeah....none of us would want to do dirt roads. We have all set our cars up for tarmac driving only.
As for the meet, let's keep it simple. Meet some place, hang out a bit. Maybe cruise some back roads. Do mid afternoon lunch and head back.
The idea of the meet is to let car guys be car guys. Talk crap to one another, check out what others have done, and mostly just have fun.
So set up the times, locations and dates. Wait and see who shows up.

I'd suggest picking a date that works for you and getting feedback. It will be tough but a small meet is better than no meet.

We will have a route. It will be similar to a rally. Meet and shortly shoot the **** at Devue Park. everyone will drive the route to lunch.
then we all eat and shoot the **** in the warmth of the returaunt.
then, those who decide they've had enough will hit the highway home and the rest can continue on our route.
I promise this will be one of the most fun "meets" you'll attend, so im willing to bet very few will head out early.

The rest of us will certainly refrain from unnecessary destruction of paint and various other complonents for the sake of your satisfaction of playing in the dirt.
Continued talk like this will result in no one coming to any meet you plan.

I wouldn't limit it to any type of car but I would like to see it limited it to mature people
No reason to get mad at another type of car tagging along. I have seen people get mad and I feel that it is silly.

Does anyone down here in Cinci have or have had experience with an Exedy Twin - HD? I got one in last week and would like to talk noises to make sure that I don't have any problem noises.
Don't worry I am fully aware that it is not a quiet clutch, I just want be reassured that none of the noises are bad.
