Getting better each day. I got my staples out last Monday and started physical therapy last wednesday. It's getting better each day. They told me to expect to be on crutches until at least mid Feb. I won't be able to put any weight at all on the leg until at least Jan 25th when I go in for followup x-rays. I'm just happy the pain is low enough now that I stopped taking the pain meds on saturday.

That's good to hear. Hopefully you will be better by spring....our cars will need some exercise by then.

Maybe Mark you can plan another AWD meet some time in the spring. I know Eli and Greg would love to attend.

I've been busy with the new v7 EVO rom. I think I about have it ready for tuning into other peoples cars. If anyone is interested in making your car run better than it ever has, I am more than willing to assist you.

According to DLL and the new Excel dyno my car is well in the 400WHP range and TQ is just as high. It is absolutely amazing how well it drives. I am getting easily 300+ miles per tank now too. The coolest part is I have my car building boost below 3k rpm. So much fun.

For you drag racers...the launch maps are a blast. The ability to run negative timing and rich fuel to build boost at the line makes for a very fast 60' for sure.

Also, if any of you need some mechanic assistance, I am more than willing to give a hand.

So.....what are everyone mod plans for the winter ? ?

I am putting in drive shaft bushing to help eliminate the rear end thump. I have new rear sway bar end links to put in (current ones rattle). I have a Whiteline rear toe kit to install as well.

I have too much house crap going on to even begin to think about working on my car. It sucks having a nice heated garage and all the tools, but no time. Sad face.

I feel you on the house stuff. I just finished remodeling my master bath. Now the wife wants me to re-do the floors in the other bathrooms. It is a never ending process.

No, no. Wives, Kids, Pets, Cars, AND the House all cost a lot of time and money. Oh the joys of living the american dream.

You know what though.....I wouldn't change it for anything.

Paul I wish you could make my monthly cheaper so I could afford to keep her. I'm facing the harsh reality in NY, that I'm just not making enough money yet since the film biz is soooo ****in tough, so I'm just payin for her until my money's all gone, and then I'll be forced to sell her..... but I'm pretending that reality doesn't exist.

We all have to make sacrifices from time to time. Yeah these cars are absolutly wonderful, but life certainly comes first. You can always get another car.

The problem with this car is that the mod bug gets to us very quickly. By resisting the urges and paying the car off first allows for us to keep the expensive car and mod it later.

I paid off my car years ago. I never realized how nice it is not having car payments. I tell you, I don't plan on ever having them again. Cars are a huge expense that has zero return on equity.

For those of us with houses, we have the capability of using the equity in our house as a method to buy cars and consolidate debts. The benefit of doing this is that the interest is a big tax write off every year. There isn't a pre-payment penalty so we can pay off the equity loan any time we choose. This isn't for everyone, but I saw it a ton when I was a Banker.

Remember it is life's small sacrifices now that will reward us later.
