If you wanted to travel to N KY I would surely help you out. Up to you.
As for those that talk about CSS....I think the people on that site hate me. Guess I am too old for their antics. I could really care less. I go on there some times just for the entertainment of the E Thuging.

Thanks again and I look forward to meeting more of you guys around the Dayton area (Cincy & Cbus too!)

Glad I can be of some assistance. The bad thing about being in my car is that you will get the "mod bug".
I sent you an email in reference to your other questions.
I hope to see you at some AutoX races this year. You will see a little of what your car can do.
AND
If MARK wants.....plan another meet and drive event.....you will have an absolute blast.

So does anyone know of any good Evo tuners in the greater Dayton area? I'm thinking about going the Cobb AP route, but if I get more advanced mods I will probably want a custom tuner.

You really don't need a COBB access port. We have the capability to tune and flash the stock ECU and easily do everything the access port can. Many of us (myself included) tune our own cars.
Search in the EcuFlash forums for more information.

That is mostly a VW and Audi shop from what I hear. I don't think they have extensive Evo tuning experience.
Just tune yourself....it is pretty easy to do.

I realize what you are saying....but if you look at those plots the dyno was not set up properly. The crossover point for Tq and Hp must be 5250 rpm. Theirs is like 5800 something which tells me that it is not calibrated properly. I could go on more, but I will leave it at that.
For the most part tuning is tuning. Anyone can do it. But, those that can do more than just create big peak hp numbers will be the ideal tuner to go to.
I'd be curious to see that car on the strip...it's time and trap speed would tell the truth.

i agree with paul, just tune it yourself on stock ecu for now. everybody it seems is always picking up more mods every once in a while, and getting a pro tune every 6 months or so would get very expensive real quick.
