Well let me on the base and I will come!! My work is 3 minutes from the base. My company also delivers the produce to the various canteens throughout the base... So if you have eaten any produce at WPAFB, it came from me!

You think they would let us drag on wright field?! Those runways have been closed for years!

I'm only a contractor so I can't get anyone on base. One of our military EVO members here could escort you guys or get a visitor's pass....

Well I am back! It took me about 20 minutes to read all the posts to catch up and WOW is right.

This thread is exploding! Very glad to see new people in the area. This summer could be fun.

 

Any relation to Tim and Sharon Patterson? They are native Daytonians that are friends of my dad but they moved out of state a few years back.

 

For those Evo X owners that live/work near/at WPAFB, do any of you have a Cobb AP and/or a TBE? I will be purchasing both in the near future but I'd love to experience a ride in an evo with these mods beforehand to make sure I am spending my money well.

If anyone in the area and wouldn't mind giving me a ride in their modded X I will buy lunch that day. I live 30 minutes away from WPAFB in a small town so this would really only work on a lunch break. PM me if interested.

 

Cool! Me and my buddies from work will probably stop by one of these Friday's (once the weather improves a bit) to grab a few beers and some pizza. I work just up the road at the GE-Aviation buildings (before I was down at the main plant in Evendale)
