Email me your ROM. I will make the changes and send it back to you.

Oh and for what it is worth....another "Paul" OPP tune is on the road. Hope he is happy with the effort. There is A LOT left on the table once a WB is installed and we lean it up a bit.

Ya'all have fun at the shoot out. I will be here having fun with my lil boy. He turns 4 this weekend. Then, it is off to buy the wife a new ride.

Take a lot of pics....please.

So I drive a GG Evo X and work at WPAFB. This morning I saw a WW X drive on base right before me. Is that anyone here?

Also often on the way to work I see another GG X on Route-4 heading North, as I am heading South. Not sure if you are on here either.

Can't tell if the GG has mods but the WW appeared to have a single exit exhaust of some sort.

On an unrelated note, I'm getting ready to buy an AP because the lack of local tuners. Buschur is just too far away for me to travel. What are you Dayton and Cincinnati guys doing about tunes? I am way too nervous to self tune, I would want it done by a pro that knows what they're doing if I ever got a pro-tune instead of an AP.

Hey dude, I drive the red 2008 X and on base as well. I have the accessport and can flash you if you'd like to see what its like. That way you can see if you like it or not. I work over in the 445th area in bldg 4007. My car is in the parking lot..

Dayton.....Representing.

Why do I have to be deploying??....ARRGGGHH.

If I could just stay home, OPP would be open in a matter of a few months. Nooo. I have to DEPLOY first for a friggin year.

N E Way

Hit up Brad, he can get you all tuned up.

Couple notes on tuning though. In order to get the full potential of the car you must have a Wide Band o2 sensor and a method of logging boost. These items are essential for getting the maximum potential out of the car. The tuning without them will get you in the ball park, but you will never get a home run.

I have the innovative wide-band on my car. I just installed it, thats why I'd like to go open source now and possibly sell my accessport. I already have a lap-top and just need the cable and program. I used to tune my Eclipse GSX and my Evo VIII but used a wide-band and Apex-i SAFC II. Now I'll have to learn all over again... The accessport is good since Buschur is so far away. When I was stationed in Utah, I had Cobb tuning 20mins from my house.

Who is Brad? I plan on getting a wideband and boost gauge with or without an AP so I should be good.

I thought the AP was married to it's specific car and cannot be used on multiple cars ? ? ?

Im Brad. Ill be taking over Pauls tuning and upgrade duties while he's fighting for our country. I dont have the capabilites to get into an AP unit to flash any tunes or take them off. It will have to be unmarried to gain access to the ecu's ROM. Im still looking into how youre able to keep the AP and still get a custom tune.

That is correct from everything I've read.

Hey Brad. What do you charge for tuning? Is it dyno or road tune? So I take it you do open source tune not AP tune?

What do you mean keep the AP and still get a custom tune? i guess you'd either have to get a custom AP tune, or just get a regular custom tune and then use the AP for logging purposes only.
