Hey guys,
Just throwing it out there locally first.
For 2010 season I need way less power, so I'm looking to trade someone my 30R kit. I need someone running FP green, or IX turbo (might settle for VIII) but really wanted to go with no less than IX.
We can nagotiate the price and the parts that will go in the trade, I could also arrange the swap to be done at Slick Motorsports.
PM me or call me
Alex (440)552-0773
Ok, here is what I will include in the trade.......
The turbo/mani - T3 flange, it's welded together right now.
The kit has approx. 2,500 miles on it.
Like mentioned before looking to trade or if sell - $3,000

Not sure if it was the colder weather, first time out with more power and twin disk, and/or ****ty last day of the year track conditions but it was fairly tough to hook up. Most of my 60's were terrible.
There was a couple single digit GNs running, one of which was insane. The window had the guy's name on it, something like Fiscus. I want to say I saw an 8 second pass. Someone told me it was good for high 7's. I love GNs...

I put my car in winter mode....snow tires and removed my APR wing. I plan on putting the stocker back on to fill the trunk holes. The car looks so different with the stock wheels. Oh well....only a few long months of cold crappy weather and the car can go back to normal.
Your times are pretty good considering you don't even have cams yet. I am impressed! !
I still have a set of Milla Miglia wheels with blizzac snows....if anyone is interested. I had a couple bites, but no one has decided to take them. They are just sitting here collecting dust and I am not trying to get rich. I do have to tell you, the wheels are curbed up and the tires are pretty worn...camber wear.

After you gave me the heads up on those cams, I have read that the cams on the IX's are decent and some aftermarket cams don't provide as big of gains as on the VIII's. I think I read that some cams have actually caused a loss of power in certain applications. Honestly, I am not sure if I have the mods to gain much from cams at this point.
Anyone have a rough idea about how much power I am putting down with those times? I am guessing around 300.
So Paul, do you drive your beast in the winter? I take it thats why you are swapping out the wheels and wing.

Download the virtual dyno in the EcuFlash section on here. All you need to do is load a pull into it and it does the rest. It is very accurate too.
Yes, I drive my car in all weather. I put on snow tires and remove a lot of the carbon fiber goodies.
As for a guess about your power, I would say you are in the 320+ range. I ran 11.99 at 106mph when I was at 350ish. My car is a tq monster though, 1.70 60' 89mph in the 1/8th. This was before cams and boost was only at 25ish. I found out later that my old tubular exhaust manifold was cracked too.

From: on the interwebs all fricken day.
found a giant rip in my LICP coupler before i even started a boost leak test
that was why i threw the P0243 (wastegate over duty) code
and also why the car made alot of noise but didn't go anywhere.
new silicone coupler is here, Ill be doing a more thorough leak test this weekend.
I have my boost set to 18PSI and it feels stronger now than it ever has. I feel there are still more leaks though so it will stay at 18 until im fully diagnosed, then off for a retune for ultimate fuel economy.
