Kent,

Thanks for the offer. I'm not looking for the one that connects to the TB, I'm looking for the piece of hose that is connected to the pipe that goes before the TB. If you have that one let me know when I can give you a call.

The head is back on the car. Should have it 100% in about an hour.

Head gasket was leaking coolant and compression was low in cylinder 3. Replaced the crappy cometic head gasket with a new stocker. Compression is back to within spec and the leak is gonzo.

I'm gonna drive it this way for a week or so, then pull the valve cover and re-torque the head studs. Then, I can tune the heck out of it.

I have to say, the car loves the Perrin silicon suction pipe much better than the HKS pipe. It was $ well spent. The HKS pipe will work great if I ever go speed density.

Heather,

Glad to hear you got your car running the way it should be. What was causing your boost issues?

The boost issues were caused by loose couplers and the stock solenoid being installed without the factory pills installed. Thus the car only ran wastegate pressure.

I repaired all of the leaks, tweeked a few other little things, installed an old school Buschur MBC, and put in a tune for 24-25 psi on pump. The car is now putting down an easy and reliable 300 ish hp and tq.

Good stuff, good to hear that it wasn't a more serious issue!

So how does the weekend of the 24th of July sound for a meet?

The location (somewhere in Newport on the Levee) and times are still to be determined.

Paul
