Oh yea? I've been in there a bunch of times. My Dad makes it a policy to visit it twice when he's in town... once on the way in, and some frozen ones to go on the way out.

Cool beans....works for me. Let's plan on you getting here about 9am. We should have the tranny one the floor by lunch. We can then take a break and grill some burgers and dogs. Just bring everyting you want to install in your car.

Oh and please wash out the engine bay. Cover your air filter with a plastic bag. Spray the entire engine bay with simple green. Let it soak for about 5 minutes. Then hose it all out. This will make everything shiny and clean so we won't have to deal with a huge mess. Remeber to remove the plastic bag when you are done.

You need to bring trans fluids and diff fluids. Both will be drained.

Everyone is invited. Think of it as an "install day".

INSTALL DAY
When: Sat, 5 Sept
Where: Paul's house in KY (PM for address)
Time: 9 am till ?

I have everything we need to get the jobs done. Breaking in the clutch takes about 500 miles of easy driving. The rest we can easily do though.

Just bring parts and fluids.

EVERYONE ELSE.....pm me to get my address so you can come hang out.

Just want everyone to know JAWBREAKER was a huge success.....

28 cars were registered, plus me.... I was the video car, but I mostly drove as much as I could and filmed a little, since it's impossible to capture something like that with one camera.

But the route was incredible, some really really fun roads that were insanely narrow and technical at some point, some driving faster than others, good people, only two speeding tickets (one of which was my friend driving my car while I was filming), and that's about it..... so once I gather footage from everyone I can who had cameras, I'll post it up here.

i saw two evos flying down the hill on 75 right before the river. Both 8's or 9's, (couldnt tell because they hauled *** past me) One was black on gold rims, it had some gold lettering over it. the other was a white one with black rims and blacked out tails.

Does anyone know if there's any HPDE's anywhere relatively close in September? I worked my *** off this month, and need a nice vacation to a track day, but haven't seen anything close.

any help would be appreciated.

I usually go with these guys:
http://www.1010thsmotorsports.com/2009_TOTAL.html

The owner is a really nice guy, and puts on top quality events. It'll be Corvette-heavy, but there's always a pretty good mix of cars. He had a ton of Bluegrass dates, but it didn't open on schedule this season. I would have been to the track a lot more if it had.

Anyway, Putnum Park Sat. Sept 18th, and Virginia International for a 2-day event the 28th/29th. I'm going to hit VIR if I can get off work.
