The guys here at AMS have decided to start an EVO Club for the chicago / midwest. There would be a dedicated site / Forum for the club. we will have a few organized meets and Track days. It would be a very lax site but dedicated to the Evolution VIII community. I just want to get an Idea of what you guys thought about it.

That's awesome. Track days would be fun, there are a few around like Road America, Blackhawk Farm, Gingerman, Autobahn Counrty Club. I can easily get a few guys whick are interested

Martin, if you're interested in getting track events organized, drop me a PM. I'm one of the founders of http://findtheline.com and also helped http://aarrf.com with alot of their events. At http://findtheline.com we're looking to share track time and events with other midwest organizations.

We're currently holding events on our own, as well as with the local chapter of the national vintage racing club, and also with some of the other local make specific clubs (Subie club, Corvette club, etc.) to make track days both plentiful and affordable! We currently have 4 more track days booked for Mid-America Motorplex (the next is June 25th - check our site) as well as other shared events.

so is this going to be like a once a month thing or a weekly thing.

and whats going to happen when you guys go to the race events it would be pointless if you would not have meets every weekend or everyother week.
