You can make it to Cleveland from Indy in 4.5 typically.

Watch out though for cops in between the Canton and Akron areas on 77. Used to drive up there once a month and almost always saw some state troopers around those areas.

Well, you're wrong is all I can say. I've done it a number of times and it wasn't a problem. Where you live in Indy might make a difference as I'm about 7mins from 70 on the NE side.

Depending where you are going in Cleveland and where you're leaving from will make a difference of course. Only time it took me longer was when I had to go up to the very NE side. One thing to consider here, most of the time I went it was after 7 PM.

Leave on a full tank, make a quick pitstop for gas, get back on the road and 4.5hrs is very easily done at 90mph. Just do the math on it.

315 miles give or take between Indy and Cleveland. 4.5 times 90mph is a travel distance of 405 miles. Take out some of that time for when you can't pass as well as a pitstop....no problems providing you don't get a ton of traffic.
