Cruise to Road America, July 10th
Ok, the 4th fell through, mainly due to the weather and the last minute notice. Here's the new event coming up, with LOTS of notice so you can plan accordingly!
Sunday, July 10th (yes, THIS Sunday) there is a club running up at Road America, called the Midwestern Council. They have ALL kinds of cars, and ALL kinds of racing going on, all weekend. On Sunday are the big races for all the classes. Entry fee is only $10 for spectators.
My plan: Meet at my place at 9am (because racing starts at 12 at Road America). From there, we will depart and go through the Kettle Moraine Scenic drive route that I have mapped all the way up to Road America. It takes approximately 2 hours, moving at a pretty decent pace. Once we get there, we can watch racing until we get bored, and then run the route in reverse (there are some slight changes I make on the way home). After that point, everyone is welcome back to my place and we can cook out, have a bonfire, etc. BOYB.
Anything you like, can be kept at my place (cold) while we are gone.
Should be a great time, to meet all the new Evolution owners and have a good time driving. Every time we've ever gone up to Road America, it turns out to be the event of the year, in regards to an Evolution meet, so don't miss it! PM me that you're coming and I'll set you up with directions and any other information that you'd like.

Ok, we now have approximately 6 to 7 confirmed cars! It's going to be an incredible day!
Small advice... buy or bring a walkie-talkie, or talkabout type of radio. It's REALLY helpful in the twisty turny roads to be able to keep intouch with everyone in the group.
