Spotted Evo's in Minnesota

I feel David is probably the BEST tuner in our region and he's only 750 miles away and not on the other end of the country like all the other tuner's.
I think giving David enough time to work out all the kinks with his dyno and get the dialed in properly will reap huge benefits next year in making sure the cars are tuned properly.
Plus with all the work to your head/engine I am sure David would have a good sense of where to nail things down in the tune.

Hows your car been running since Al flashed it with the 264/272 cam combo? Have you been getting any stuttering/misfiring down low say between 1750-3000 RPM like a hesitation during hot weather, are you getting any P0300 misfires or any other CELs?
I have considered driving down to OH to have my car tuned by Dave Buschur.
I'm also waiting to see what the numbers coming from his dyno will look like, but so far, they seem to be pretty close to what we've seen up here - but that's mostly guessing at this point. I know at one point I was thinking of a turbo upgrade, but I think that's pretty much history for now. The small turbos seem to deliver close to stock results on straight pump gas, and I'm such a track junkie that I'm not willing to move to a slower spooling turbo.
That drive in a purpose build race car has ruined me for steet cars, though. My Evo may have had a smidge more acceleration, but the corner speeds were insane in that thing. I am definitley going to buy one and go racing.

I actually did have somone offer to provide trailering for the car, tires and spares for free if I was willing to buy a car and commit to 4 events per year in a specific series. That's a pretty big commitment though.
