I just moved from Hawaii to north Chicago Great Lakes area and wondered if anyone had local info on where to go on the weekends and stuff.

There are meets once a month or so at Gino's East pizzeria in Rolling Meadows. Go to Ginoseast.com and mapquest the Rolling Meadows location so that you're ready next time.

Are you in the city or in the burbs? You will be missing Hawaii in about a month when we get that September dip in the high 30's.

I live in the north suburbs. And no, I'm not a spoiled rich *****, so don't worry. I guess you'll have to get used to the climate. Chi-town has the weirdest weather patterns, so it takes a little while to get used to it.
