Following the relative success of the August meeting...One actually took place, and in my book that is a successful initial outing.

I am really trying for better than 5 Evos this time...

The next meeting date is completely open at this point. So, harnessing the power of democracy, I now throw the matter of date to the masses.

Using some logic, I am not including the weekend of Labor Day in the voting...of course open revolt is the only path to certain change (good or bad); you could just decide to meet that weekend regardless.

So here are the choices:

1. Weekend of 10th/11th
2. Weekend of 17th/18th
3. Weekend of 24th/25th

No box stuffing (get your minds out of the gutter... ), please, and vote for the weekend that you might ACTUALLY be able to make it. I'll keep voting open until the end of August. Vote by posting/PM-ing/e-mail (you may get spam filter message...don't worry, I will still get your message). Don't really want to do a poll, as comments are welcomed.

The matter of Sat. or Sun. can be decided after we pick a weekend. Okay?

If the location & time was okay last time (Bandana's on Manchester, E of 141, at 2pm) then I guess we will keep those the same, as this will save Sakamara from having to doctor up a new aerial photograph.

As always, this is not a dictatorship!! If you have an idea for a better time/place/???? then speak up!!

Sorry I didn't read this thread until today. I have to check my schedule (I know I have a wedding to go to one of the Saturdays in Sept.) but 24th/25th sounds the best to me. I'm definitely up for another meet though. The last one was pretty cool. Got to meet some good people. Hopefully whatever weekend we choose it doesn't rain on us.

 

Last meet was fun. I don't care about which weekend as long as I know in advance. I make my own schedule so I should be able to make it on any of the days. Yeah, it got pretty nasty out last time. We were so fortunate that there was a bar right there to keep us safe while the power was off. Good times....

 

How about the yabbos on that chick playing pool. Made me wish I was single.

I had to go to Memphis for business on the weekend I work to organize a meet, get my rear bumper all roughed up on the driver's side in a parking garage (Damn the dead Elvis followers!!!!), find out my buddy's new girlfriend is hotter than anything I have ever seen, and now I'm hearing about missing YABBOS?!?!?!

There is no justice in this world!

 

You missed them? How? I was going on and on about them. I was about one beer away from clubing her like a caveman and draging her away. If the weather wasn't so bad outside I might have done that.

 

As long as I know the Sunday before the weekend that we have this, I'll be good for it. I'd also like to get my kit installed before we meet, but either way on that.

 

How did I miss them? I was in another city instead of at the event I helped plan...as I said no justice.

And why worry about a little rain? (okay...I heard it was a lot of rain) Made of sugar? It would've just helped ease the friction of dragging her around.
