Prolly because we passed a couple troopers on the way to Normal in the morning, with a pack of 30+ Evos and other cars. They prolly knew we would be coming back that way, but the WI people took a different route.

 

It was a great day and best of all the drive was fab. With 2 close calls and triple digit driving it was fun, I was just pissed I got stuck behind slow pokes and slower pokes and got lost from the group just as we were getting close.

For those I hung out with today it was great meeting you, we will def need to get together sometime perhaps for a photoshoot.

Thanks to all who put time in for planning and Dan for breakfest.

 

wow... that sucks for you guys. i saw one cop on the way home and that wasn't til i was near geneseo... it was a state cop, but luckily he didn't do anything. i got lucky too. fireball its a good thing you guys took a different way home, i wouldn't want to hear about how all you guys got tickets. whomever owns the silver evo hopefully it was just some bs ticket, either way that sucks for him.

 

The Cannonball Was Sucessful. The Cops At Marker Did Pull Over One Of Our Members. But Overall It Was Great. Until Once Again, Cannonball!

 

a photoshoot would be cool, although the question would be where to meet up at?

when I went by they had a maxima pulled over with 5 more on the ramp waiting, I gave gina a call for a heads up so I dont think they got the 2 yellow lancers.

boy did i have fun trying to stay with all the evos in my 05 lancer es (top right pic)...but i did and sometimes at middle/front/back of the pack depending on the pics i took.

 

That event was unreal! I had a great time and it was totally worth the 620 miles there and back to GR. Thanx to all the vendors that came out. Its nice to be able to see all the parts up close and talk to you a bit.

 

thanks for all of your kindness I am honetly impressed that you all took me in and treated me as one of your own ( 3 weeks i really hope) it was great, everything, i really enjoyed my self I had one of the better times in recent memory with 50 strangers I hope we get to do this again next year
