well, i guess i'm the new guy on the list. i live in ann arbor, mi and have had my lancer for a couple of months. i just now found this section of the forums. i'm sure you've seen my name plastered all over photoshop and show&shine forums. i'm definitely interested in becoming a part of a club. my car isn't heavily modded out yet, but RaceEngineering keeps giving me deals I can't resist so it should be shortly. keep me informed on the goings on and i'll see if i can make it to some meetings.

Has anyone here had any dealings in the past with Fox Mitsu before we all get excited? I have, but before I let the tongue slip, I'd like to know if anyone else has.

My fiance' bought a new red 01' Eclipse GT from Fox Mitsu. The car was almost 25k with every available option $$. The Saleslady included several free oil changes with the purchase and each time my fiance' brings it in for servicing, they seem to have an attitude. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but, evidently the Saleslady was let go shortly after the purchase. On one occasion they inspected the car and found the sunroof wasn't opening smooth enough so they asked her to come back when the "special" grade grease came in. We ended up calling them after 3-4 weeks for an appointment. We dropped the car off before they opened, for the supposedly 3 hr job, and called back in the early afternoon to find that the grease had not come in. They asked us to call at 5. To make a longer story short, they had it for 3 days (torn apart) and still did not have the special grease. I told them to put it together and call us when it arrives. Finally, several weeks later they fixed it. This is one of 3 seperate occasions we had problems with with Fox's service dept. Now maybe they changed their staff or are under new management since then but I am still wiery {sp} of them. We get the car service at a different dealer now. I hope this is an isolated incident and the car was just black flagged from the begining. If they are willing to sponser, I still would be interested, cautiously. Sorry if this puts a damper on things.
