I've been there... Don't remember it being $6.99/gal though. Of course This was about 3-4 months ago. It helped out my Z a lot. Also its a 24hr pump.

It's Duggans Petroleum and it is in Englewood of Santa Fe. 100 octane is usually $4.50ish per gallon. They also carry all the way up to 118.

Yes, it's going to happen, but I'm trying to think up a good date for it. Unfortunately, the Raleigh, NC, guys already snagged the March 4/5 weekend, and I need to get retuned for altitude before the first NASA-RM event on March 11/12, so it will probably happen during the week. All of the weekends before then are already booked by LA, South Carolina, Hawaii, and Houston...

yeah, man, I know you've been working really hard and doing tons of research to figure out the best turbo upgrade for your situation, but I frankly don't know enough about the effects of altitude nor the differences in those big turbos to be of much help. I am well-versed in how to extract a lot of power from the stock turbo for very little money spent, but after that, things go beyond my knowledge.

I think the 20G-IX will be a good bet for you, BUT, until we have proof from regular customers, there's no way to know for sure.

Btw, I'm trying to get March 4th/5th for the Denver trip, but that's only if the NC guys don't lock down their 5 deposits by Friday night.

if you get the 4th/5th, im not sure if im going to be able to make it. i need to have a bunch of parts installed and decide on a turbo and have that installed by then. i really hope i can make it no matter what date we choose, since ive been wanting this for over a year now. well hopefully everything goes well.

Al wants to do it that weekend, too, so you might want to get busy. I need it before the 11th, because that's the first road racing event of the season for me - NASA-RM HPDE at PMI. One way or another, Al will be coming up before March 11th, so plan accordingly.

Hope you have a second set of tires. That roadtrack is horrible. Made of old time gravel/cement. Best of luck though and I'm still interested in watching the tune.

Ok. It was good enough for One Lap of America and good enough for NASA, so it's good enough for me. I don't know who doesn't have a 2nd set of tires for road racing at any track...

It is a little abrasive but not that bad. I ran 2 days with 2 drivers on a well used set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cups without any problems (aside from a completely trashed set of brake pads ) and I was anything but kind to them.

The entrance onto the main straight is really interesting. It is a corner you want to carry as much speed through as possible because it is a long straight. The problem is they use it for drag racing. This means there are concrete walls on either side and a big metal plate that covers where the Christmas Tree normally sits. Amusingly this plate is right on line You have to have big ***** to do it fast… but it really pays off when you do.

I will not know for a few more weeks if I will be buying a tuning session for my mechanics car. Al already said he doesn't do Talon's, which is what I have. *sigh*
