If you are looking to get info from people in Chicago, you should be posting this in the regional forum. Moving it there right now...

I went to Ziebart with my old car. $170 for 5 windows, any percentage, 5 year warranty. Looked great! Taken 4 cars over there since.

The price is pretty good already if we do get a group that would be awesome.

Greg - is this a reputable company that does tints?

So far Ziebart sounds promising....5 year warranty that's good.

I don't know what to tell you. He's my friend, and whatever goes wrong you can sue him since there are legal documents he signs and you as well.

I got lifetime warranty for $175, any % tint at sunbusters here. In milwaukee though, but they have shops all over the country, maybe even in Chicago. Warranty is gauranteed everywhere with the tint they use, so any shop that carries it will fix it.

at this point all sound legit...tint is tint right? I guess it all boils down to the warranty.

Hmm...it's dumb because I've asked cops about tints and they said straight up, tints were something that were add-on's to tickets. Say you were speeding...they'll mark you down for tints but unless they were an *** they'll get you for the tints alone. Then again I know any tint is illegal in Chicago. So that's really the determining factor for me right now.

But...hell if the price is right, we get a GB...i'd be down.

I wonder if cops would stick a ticket to your windshield if your car would be parked on the street with tints?
