The closest AWD dyno in the area is in Kansas City, there are two there. Dieman Motorsports is one, can't remember the name to the other. Congratulations on the Evolution IX purchase, we try to have meets regularly, I'll PM you with meet information when we decide when and where the next one is going to be held.

No AWD dyno, but Sublime on 90th has some way to run the Evo on a 2WD dyno. Maybe they converted a transfer case. Anyhoo, that's an option if you don't want to go all the way to KC to Dieman.

yeah kc is def a trip. Thanks for the replies. Talked to some guy at stereo west today(about getting keyless/alarm) said he raced an evo 8 in his srt-4 stage 1. Said the evo rocked his pants off the line. You guys ever take trips to scribner? I have never been there, nor any other 1/4 mile track. Would be cool to go up there next spring. Anyways just thinking aloud.
EDIT: Oh yeah any of you guys ever auto-x? I have driven by some sort of course on i29 south in iowa, know anything about it?

Scribner is closed and won't be open next year as far as I know. There may be a new quarter mile track in the future between Lincoln and Omaha. The autocross you saw was being held at Mid America Center, there'll be more next year if you plan on autocrossing I wouldn't go heavy on the modifications just yet until you figure out what class you want to compete in. More information can be found at http://www.nrscca.com/

Keeping your warranty is a great idea Welcome to the club ... there are a bunch of us here in the Omaha and Lincoln area. You must be the one who bought the EVO 9 RS from Metro ... if you need any help or advice on your EVO don't hesitate to ask us

Metro is pretty strict about voiding warranties. They will let a few things slide, eg: catback, turbo timer, a few cosmetic mods, but make sure you talk to them PRIOR to doing any mods ... Most of us use BP 92 Oct. seems to be the easiest to find ...
