I met with Nick last night (black evo ix) at the 7-Eleven in Lake In The Hills and I have a question for someone who can answer it for me............Can we put license plates on the front windshield or do we have to put it on the bumper? I just got pulled over this morning for no front license plate and I got a warning.

 

pretty sure it's not legal unless it's on the front bumper.

Damn, looks like I will have to be drilling holes on my front bumper now.......

 

the law doesn't specifically state where on the front bumper though, I have seen a lot of trick places like behind the mesh where fog lights and stuff. We don't have that much room on stock bumpers to do that and not infront of the IC but think of somewhere else so you don't have to drill the bumper. I don't have a front plate either

 

you are selling your car anyways, what does it matter? dont go and drill holes, if you have to put a plate on get the bracket from mitsubishi.

 

Any suggestions on where I should put it? I do have the bracket from Mitsubishi but you still have to drill holes.

 

If you have a bracket from mitsu, you dont drill any holes, and you cant have lic plate behind your windshield, I got a ticket for that "improper display" ... I got my lic plate and i dont really care. I drive alot and sometimes cops can be picky":_)

 

i drive my yellow 8 around joliet anyone see me???? i do see a blue evo 8 driving around joliet i always see it near larkin and jefferson
