I would highly recommend that everyone who owns an EVO in Minnesota post up on Frappr.
I ended up doing it just so people have an idea where myself and other EVO owners are located, you can always remove/edit your information for privacy if necessary.
http://www.frappr.com/lancerevolution
Also, would any of you be interested in the following, let me explain -
I was a part of the R1-forum.com a while ago which eventually migrated to Minnesota Sportbike Riders (mnsbr.com) and while I was on that forum due because I was a fellow Yamaha R1 owner (which I eventually sold and picked up a Ducati 998 and then sold my 998 last spring due to having to young kids and no time to ride), I started what I called a "Buddy List".
To make a long story short we started a specific thread called 'Minnesota Riders' which people could search for to find other Minnesota riders and then post. In this case I started the "*** Minnesota EVO Owners ***" thread to start out the same thing.
What I would like to propose is making another "Buddy List" to see who would be interested. The purpose of the list is to have the following at your disposal -
1. Peoples Names
2. City they live in
3. Cell phone or other Ph# (in case anyone wanted to get a hold of you for a group ride or any events).
4. Email address
5. Make/model/color of car you own (this is to help people associate a name/face to the most recognizable thing which is your car).
This list would be kept somewhat discrete due to people's information. If anyone wanted a copy of the list they would have to supply their own personal information above before they would get a copy of the excel spreadsheet with everyone elses information.
This keeps some accountability. Generally in the past like on the R1-Forum we didn't add people until after we had ridden with them a couple of times to get an idea if they were someone we could trust to ride along side us, referalls from people already on the list were generally added right away.
So I propose to start another buddy list with the information above starting with myself.
It would be nice if we could make this thread a primary thread for posting about upcoming group gatherings, track days, or get togethers, auto shows, etc.
Feel free to respond with ideas or suggestions.
Regards,
Mark Eddy

I would love to get together this weekend but my wife and I bowl Saturday nights every other weekend so Saturday is kinda out of the question.
I look forward to getting together and meeting everyone. I already know a few people and I am thinking that if we get enough people together we could even get some dyno days going or anything else.
Hey, shout out to Russ....are you around? Russ was a part of the Buddy List from the R1Forum I was on.
I have been lightly adding things to my EVO so far, tastefully.
Already added -
Apexi Turbo Timer (pen sized one)
Works drop in filter
Ralliart Cooling Panel RED
Ralliart Blue plug wires (1,3)
Mitsubishi Aluminum front strut tower bar brace
Hoping to add the Works P2/soleniod lines, and send in my factory muffler to be cored out.

Hey Michael haven't talked to you in a while. Can't remember if you were with us back in July 2005 with Al from Dynoflash to do the group flashing/custom tune.

If you guys are interested in getting a list going please PM me your information stated above and I will add it to the list and then email it back to you.
If you ever need to make a change let me know and I can update the primary list that I can keep and then email it back out...that way we don't have people emailing lists all over the place.

I would like to come see what you guys got. I'm bone stock though. I wanna see what the difference is between a stock evo and a dyno flashed evo. I'm thinking about dyno flashing but not sure yet.
