Blackhawk Farms Raceway Lapping Day
Blackhawk Farms Raceway Lapping Day
The Madison Sports Car Club is hosting a lapping day at Blackhawk Farms on Friday May 26th. $155 and everyone should be able to get 2.5hrs of track time. http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...sevent_id=4906
Man, why they gotta plan this stuff on one of the 3 biggest weekends of the year! I've already got plans...
Wish I could go, might still be able to make it if things change, but doubt it. Any other open events on this track??

I'll certainly try to be there if I can. What I can definitely say is being "sick" at work for a lapping day is the way to go
Just make sure there aren't any cars screaming by while you're on the phone with your manager!

Franz, what's this? You guys coming over onto our turf to harrass us now? We wouldn't do that to you.... Oh, wait..... *whistles*
I don't know of anyone that gets specific insurance for these events. I would talk to your insurance agent/company and see if you would be covered should the worst happen. I *think* it comes down to whether or not the event is timed. This event isn't and it is NOT a day of racing.
I do know of 2 guys that have crashed at Road America on lapping days, one of them twice, and the insurance has paid up each time without any questions. But like I said check with your insurance people.
