How about a SIX FLAGS DAY, on the 13th!!!
Alright Gina, I told you that I was going to highjack this thread....
I was thinking about a
Six Flags Day , the weekend of the 13th. :: Saturday ::
I live within a five to ten minute walk of Six Flags. (Depending on the entrance.)
We could head over to the Lake County Forrest Preserve after meeting at my place (In the AM)
and enjoy a cookout, some activities, and a great place for some pictures. Until about 3 or 4
It is very picturesque.
Then head back to my place, (Up to 20 vehicles) park at my apartment complex, and walk over there.
Single handedly eliminating door dings, scratches, and parking fees in one swift swoop.

OK so so far the 20th looks good.. BESIDE'S HECTORS 3 SOME .. is this date a problem?
only a few people out of town..
Memorial Day cookout would be nice.. however.. it is lapping day.. and I know a few people said they were going at the last meet...
The Great Flags day is a good idea.. too bad it isn't what it use to be though.. however the preserve and bbq are good.. Only problem is that since it is not close.. i think people need more time to request off.. plus if we buy 20 or more tickets they are only $31.50 and you can buy meal tickets for $9.75 ..

Too far, there is a guy in springfield who drives 3+ hrs to come to meets, and we end up scratching our @##*#, what a joke. I feel bad for him. Let me guess, in, near, or around Schaumberg. Shocker... Too many miles on the car, you aren't getting the best out of your cars, and you pay what for it!!!!
It's a Saturday!!! Take the day off! It's your life people, not your works life, enjoy it while you can. And it's three weeks away, more than enough time. Even part timers need a minimum of two weeks to ask for a day off.
