My friend has a cabin in Keshena by Shawano. I have been there a few times. Its a nice area.

Dude! Sarah, that'd kill me if I had to drive to Wisconsin. Maybee if I could sleep on someone's floor I'd bring a sleeping bag. But I'm not going to stay in a motel after spending that much on gas for one day of fun. I know we give people $h!t for not wanting to drive, but that's a bit much for me!

 

You know ive never gotten better gas mileage in my evo then after driving up to my place in wisconsin. I got 28mpg as an average there and back!!!

That alone is a good 5 and half hour averaged drive from my house there alone.... although 4hr15mins is a record doesnt mean it will happen again....

Who knows, i have no set plans to go up to my place..... let me say it is a place, not a cabin, so tents be pitched. we have an outhouse (for you city folk that is your bathroom) we do have a large shed (which could be slept in, but we dont) and running water. Long driveway with plenty of room for cars if need be...

If I end up going this summer Ill see about throwing out an invite for people. Its always fun times....

 

Sarah, I have a 12 person (10x18) tent lol but Ive never had more the 4 people in it. Oh yeah its not yellow but thats ok lol. I got a few more tents too.

 

my house is right off of I39 directly on ur way, so u could crash here if u want i got four spare bedrooms.
look at us planning a meet way ahead of time, so back to mays meet, anyone figure out what we are doin yet. i am up for whatever concidering i am new to the area and dont know of anywhere or anything to do.


ohh by the way sara i would figure a filthy rich girl like u would have a house up there in WI. i am just teasin. a campin trip would be pretty sweet though.wow i am lookin foward to that. sorry sara.

Anyway... ok jonathan helped me out and found out that we can do same day reservations for the CIR.. however.. it still doesn't guarantee a time slot. So it's a hit or miss on how many people can race.. Last time I checked about renting out the place.. they wanted close to $1500 for an hour lap time and we had to manage the group so I still dont think everyone would get a chance to race. ..


Soooo.. chance or no chance?? Unless Sarah just rents the track for us.. haha j/p

Jonathan is still offering the park near him in Gurnee i believe.. Traffic on the expressway to IN sucks.. I was stuck for 3 hours in the mid afternoon.. so I don't vote for that idea unless we want some road rage.. Sal has mentioned before to meet near the lakefront..

 

yea traffic to IN sucks right about now. they are doing tons of construction out there. i drive thrue there everyday in the big truck and have to give myself 3 hrs extra to get thrue.

 

So whens this months meet??

 

people are saying the 20th the most so it will most likely be then unless otherwise stated by the powerfull ones.

 

A meet near the lake front would be fun, parking could suck....

I know Sunny had said something about Strictly Modified willing to lend out their grill for us and they have spots for us... (a place we wouldnt get kicked out of)

i like ur idea sara.hey gina, u said on the myspace group that a date had been set and something about resevations at cir. i didnt know a date had been set in stone yet and i am not sure the majority or the people want to go there.

i am not sure if i wanna spend a lot o money on watching other people race go carts,on our 1 year anniversary . but we will see what happens
