Take I-80 East (or I-80 West if coming from Iowa)
Take I-29 South to Kansas City
Take the exit to MAM/Glenwood, IA Exit #35
Turn right after exiting the I-29 South
Then turn left at the stop sign and continue a mile down the road
Turn left at Jesup Ave.
Turn left into the entrance.

Activities: Hang out and watch One Lap of America Event, the AMS Evo will be in attendance among many other entries. The first event starts at 8:30AM for those who want to show up early.

May 7th is the AutoX out at Whiteside County Airport (same place we were last time). I would come met with you guys but I need to participate because its a point event. Plus, May 7th is also my nephew's 6th birthday.. and the parents would hate me if I went out of town on his b-day.

Suraj... did Lisa still want to come with me to the May 7th event for my region? If so let me know I'd be glad to meet her up at her apartment and drive out there with her so she can participate and get some more driving time.

I am not sure if I will be able to make it that day. I am scheduled to work that day. I was bummed I missed out on the last event, but I got called into work...work is really starting to mess with my play time...if there is any way I can get out of work, I will attend.

I'm going to be a no-show. My girlfriend is running a 1/2 marathon and my brother-in-law the full marathon in Lincoln.

Stupid marathons, don't these people realize that if you need to travel 26.2 miles, a car is the perfect conveyance?

If anyone has a camcorder, could you shoot some video for the next meet for all of us that can't make it?

 

nubby i would record the footage for you but i won't be there either since i have an autox in my region that day. i agree though that a car is the perfect conveyance... hehe.

 

SOOOO TEMPTING TO COME... I really wish I could.... but I can't because even if I skipped my event... I still can't ditch my nephew and his 6th birthday. He'd never let me live it down. Anyways make sure you guys take plently of pictures and enjoy the AMS Evo.... man I love there 9 second Evo.... its sooo sexy!

The guys if AMS were a blast to hang out with and get to know before MOD and during MOD... so I hope whomever attends this One Lap of America thing has fun. It was wasn't for the nephew I would go.. I swear because it'd be a blast to hang out with you Nebraska guys again and the AMS guys.

Do you need us to bring anything, motoroil, jackstands, etc?

 

We should be ok we will have the trailer with stands and fluid, and that early in the week I hope we are not running out..

Come out, bring cameras, take pictures, visit, have fun.

I hope to be out at the track at 6am, gates probably open at 7, cars will run through a set of laps twice, look for us to run at close to 8am and noon.
