Kansas?

Hey guys,

It's looking like my wife and I will end up in KS at some point (could be fairly soon). Are there any shops at all in KS that are any good?

Has anyone made the trip to AMS yet? I think it'd be about 8 hours.

Dieman Motorsports is the best shop around for evos. But I believe they are in the process of moving at the moment.

Awesome, where abouts is the shop located? Do they have tuning experience?

They can tune AEM EMS, utec, HKS, and whatnot. I'm not sure if they do reflashes or not.

As for a local meet, there was a dyno day planned out but has been put on hold do to Dieman moving.

dieman motorsports is in Kansas City. thats the only shop you'll find in the local area that you want touching your Evo. I just came from Ft Riley, KS and there isn't anything in Topeka (except a 1/4 mile track in Heartland Park), Witchita, or Salina (except auto-x) as far as tuning is concerned. You'll have to go to KC for that. they have a AWD Mustang Dyno there. also sign in on http://www.kcsr.org to talk ot the import personnal in the KC area. You'll be better on this forum for internal KS stuff. Hope this helps!

Well, we'd want to be as close to Olathe as possible, but it depends on where I get a job. The hot company right now is in downtown Kansas City, MO so we'd likely live near Lenexa or Shawnee.

I fly out for my second interview on the 18th (tuesday). I have a good feeling about it.

How is vehicle registration in KS? I know it SUCKS in AZ- I'm hoping it'll be cheaper in KS.

I don't know how much it is in AZ but I paid just under 300 last year for a 03 Evo.
