I bought a IX GSR from South Coast and paid $28,599. As a matter of fact, I just got home with it a couple of hours ago. It took a long time to drive since the first 600 miles was break in period and I had to get off the highway at every other exit to make sure that I was verying the engine and car speed. I also stopped about every 50 miles to let the car cool down for about an hour (for the first 300 miles). I was in Colorado this morning, sleeping in a parking lot just out side of Denver. After Denver the drive is a snooze fest until Chicago.

You'll be there next week? I'll go if the weather isn't too cold, which it looks like it's getting warmer this week. Seems like everyone has a good time at the park... haven't been out to that park yet.

Im not sure about this week due to the race on the 10th. I guess it depends on what time I get done with that and if the lady and I are too tired.

sorry coming from a sti... and driving an evo... that evo trans is =P
The 6-speed will give you better mileage on the highway, but it's not as strong as the 5-speed for agressive driving. Most guys who track their Evos go with the 5-speed. There's a whole thread on the 5 vs. 6 debate in here somewhere. In that thread the 5 wins.
