ooh I am glad to find other EVO owners in CO. I just got my EVO a few months ago. I am out of the country until the day before Thanksgiving. Please let me know of any other get togethers in CO. Email me or PM on here. I will check back every few days to see what's up.

Meet was okay, not many showed up, I was expecting more because I know that they are out there. If you do have a Mitsu meet, please let us know on here as well.

 

we need to find another place to meet where we won't get kick out!! I was good to see so many evos at once though!!

 

We did not really get kicked out, they just don't want any liabilty's with so many people being on the top floor (ie: if a fight breaks out or someone bails off the side). I have been there several meets where we have grouped up on top but got told to relocate and we all moved to the lower parking lot. They don't mind if we meet up in the main parking lot just as long as 100 cars show up. It was great seeing / meeting everyone again and we should set up a club where we meet quarterly or monthly.

Someone please post up some pics! I forgot my camera that day otherwise I would post if I had some pics.

Still running the stock ECU? what are your mods?

 

Yes stock ecu, full invidia exhaust, soon to be instaled 272, cam gears, AMS LICP, UICP, Xs Headers, HKS RS style intake. I have a Xs FMIC but I heard they suck so I am going to get the AMS IC. I have to install the UICP and LICP and cams, cam gears, or get the cams instaleld and I can do the intercooler and stuff. That's about it.

 

Nice meeting some Evo guys, sweet *** cars! Figured they'd break up the meet pretty fast, suprised it lasted for 30 minutes. Did you guys cruise afterward?

 

Not sure if it's the change in seasons or what, but there's been far less activity/input from the locals at Club3g.com .... By that I mean my most recent thread to propose a meet has been open for nearly two weeks with little input. I have a list of over 20 members from over there that are interested in meets, though. (some don't own Mitsus any longer... but I see the last post was from a Nissan owner! )
I've also got phone numbers, so I could rally at least a few members on fairly short notice!

I'll be sure and post up in this thread when we get the next meet hammered out. (probably a link to the corresponding thread)

 

Next time you guys have a meet I am hoping I can make it.

 

I took a few shots with my video camera, but have never loaded any of them on the web. Any help and I will.

Anyway, I'd better post up a meet proposal here. It's pretty short notice, but some modified Galants (one of 'em is the guy I mentioned on page 3, post #44) are planning a meet down in Colorado Springs. Proposed date is Saturday, Dec. 9th .... that's THIS SATURDAY!
