Yeah the hell with strats last time i was there the cops came a said we all had 3 mins to leave or they were going to impound all our cars.

 

But the hotdogs are really good....Lots of domestics but its fun to cruise through.

yea guys so the forecast is favoring FRIDAY THE 9TH so thats looking like it's gonnna be there at 9 PM at streets of woodfield....and yea, most people will prob go out to streets on saturday....but friday is the "official" meet lol, and no, me and josh(chicago_dsm) were workin on his car today and the motor isn't in yet, we got the whole interior stripped and ready to be worked on and his motor is gettin work done to it right now......

I hung at strats every friday and saturday night last summer and the ONLY time cops ever came inside the lot to get us to leave was when a bunch of idiot hustlers decided to start a fight and broke some poor fellow's mirror and fender in the process...

The cops never came otherwise b/c the strats owners made BIG $$$ getting business all night! The more cars showed up, the more people buying hot dogs, shakes and fries!! If we cruise on 290 after streets, strats would make a good meeting spot to gather everyone up and decide what will happen next...Not too far out of the way...

Evo9 guy, funny you mention that because I showed up to streets EVERY thursday before it got cold....Thursday night meets had a larger attendance then friday and saturdays oddly enough

And Laraib, Im driving nothing right now....Either the beater 'exploder' to carry dsm parts from chicago - burbs and back, or I usually just get rides from Sekula haha..."Sekula, I just sold a gauge pod, lets go to the post office" <--- -Typical

Seriously tho, I picked up a 90awd w/ a running motor, which is being sold this weekend in fact....I still have all of my old parts, motor, trans and the new parts that is being transferred into the other shell.....

My 91awd was a super clean blue metallic, this car has a very similar paint scheme (blue/silver trim) but has signs of true dsm fashion (paint imperfections, dents, etc).....Basically, its my 'Evil Twin', its still a mean looking 1g with the power to back it up no doubt...

Yea lol , everytime we had to go to post office, you sold a gauge pod or sumthin, and i sold an ipod or navi system, and your house is basicallly a post office with boxes, tape, labels lol

naw, lol, were gonna meet once this weekend "officially" and then usually wait a week or two for people to get cars ready or get some new toys, and then have another meet, and as said before, the next meet coming up is March 24th......

and anthony, you coming to bsm at 11:00 a.m. correct? have to make sure, and you got the directions and address correct?
