anyway...just came back from streets and had a pretty nice turnout for a monday night....went with josh and ended up racin an LT-1 with some bolt-ons and it also had 4.11 gears done to it...ended up smokin it!

 

wait so a shop gave your car to someone that doesnt even work there?? or does that kid work there ?

I for one am not shocked that the meet was broken up.. and Us old school ppl know how schaumburg is.. BAD IDEA.. hooters gets broken up as well...

so yea, dsmtalk has decided that the meet is gonna be the parking lot right next to hooters by streets of woodfield...

 

Who was there with us when me met up and had the cops follow us from Portillos to Hooters and finally we were safe at AMS! HAHA memories

 

Malik, no need to get fiesty, hit me up on AIM if you wanna call Rich out again....Trust me, we'll get you a race ..Our cars are in pure dsm fashion right now (you know what that means), so give him another month to fix some bugs and get his **** straightened out and when we're ready again, I'll give you a call/IM or just talk to you at streets....No biggie, but at the same time, I can't promise you a race, its not my car of course!

All of last year our Hooters Meets ended up successful....Rent-a-cops don't seem to venture that far out of their square box (dicks parking lot), and the real police won't hassle unless we are disrupting business or making a scene...

As long as everything stays civil and organized, no obnoxious revving and launching in the lot, then everything will go well.....

So why stick to the schaumburg area ? Well, IMO, I think it is a pretty central location...City drivers have a small drive, and NORTH suburb guys will agree to it as well... NW suburb people will all make it, b/c in my opinion this is where a large majority of younger car enthusiasts seem to reside.....This is a perfect meeting place for them as well...

For future meets, a different location will be discussed...If it's ok with you guys, I will be trying this out for now

Yeah I wouldnt mind staying there, Josh. Honestly I think it's the dumbasses in F bodies and lowered SUV's that make a scene. I doubt they will follow us to another part of the mall, they're used to lurking in that parking lot.

I was with prj.evo and my buddy with a black sentra, we got there at 9 and hung out til 10:30 but it was so scattered we couldnt tell who was just chillin and who was there for the meet and such. it was a big waste of gas lol, next time im rippin the civic again
