emmisions test coming up need some suggestions?

Just wondering what I should do to pass my emmisions test!!!!!! My mods are in my sig, I was thinking about puting my stock exhaust back on and making sure my ecu does not have any old codes. Do you think I will be ok even if I have cams. Please help me out I want to make shure that I pass the first time.

my friend across the street has a 01 mustang with prochager strait dumps cams..pushing 500+hp....they asked him to turn off his car it was so loud and he passed....i suggest go to the busier ones..they don't have bull**** time to go around with their stupid little mirrors and check, go completely they way you are with a cel fix gaper, if not already installed....

Just passed mine 3 weeks ago with mods in my sig. (test pipe in place).

As long as you don't have any current, pending, history codes stored in the ecu, you'll be fine.
I got scared when they took out the mirror though, but they never used it.

BTW...if you have a cell light on. You can't just clear it in the parking lot and go right for testing. You will fail.
It has to see 3 out of 4 running inputs from the ecu for them to pass it.
You have to drive 10-15 min. after clearing the code and go for the test and hope it doesn't pop up during testing.

good question... i always wanted to know cuz i think my emission will come soon... and i have similar mods. i think i'll just go with the test pipe cuz i have the cel fix. even if u fail, they'll give u 3 months to fix the problem and retest... i wonder what will happen if they find out the car is running catless.. will there be a fine?

Just passed mine Friday with similar mods to yours no problem. All they care about is that the OBDII is set and no codes. I think every worker in the place came to see the EVO.

Damn I hope I get that lucky after modding my car. My dad knows a few places that likes to overlook things.

Thats the same as NY. If the car is 96 or newer, they no longer do tailpipe sniffers and only plug in a computer to your obd2 port. As long as you have no CEL after at least 100 miles of driving you can technically pass. It doesn't matter what you have in your car as long as you still have the factory ECU so they can get a reading. I've seen inspections done in 5 mins where they just plug in the computer, forward the info the state and give you a sticker.
