I thought this was an evom meet? ctr? chicago velocity? why? were gonna have dumbassess all over...and probably not going to be able to have a meet at fudruckers again...This is going to end up like the subaru meets back in the day over at borders...ricers doing stupid stuff..I think we should keep it an evom/dsm thing..and invite your friends not invite the "hardcore street racers of chicagoland"...this is a car club meet/greet day probably like a 1st of the bigger evo meets of the year, not a street racing hangout spot.....lets leave that to strats..streets..etc..

FWIW it's now known as MWIR again and I guess I'm one of the 'ricers' from MWIR.

BY Ricer I mean member of a forum which was a straight up import forum for enthusiasts. Unfortunately like every other import forum over the past 7 years or so kids who grew up touching themselves while looking at supras or skylines while F&F1 plays in the background have started to flood the forums and **** them up.

It's an Evom.net meet for a reason, Joshua...FOR EVOS ONLY! Those groups can set up their own meets.

Does everyone want to turn these parking lots into a Dick's lot? Because there will be a whole bunch of them there...let's not screw up the Evo meets buddy.

 

Mitch wtf are you talkin about??? one, Josh gets more than half of our evo's cuz he seriously knows everyone out there, and he's trying to get us as many people as possible, cuz i know you were at the last meet, and you know half those people that were there at strats, josh got all of them there...he gets a lot of dsm's mostly and then a couple of his friends have 240's and like 2 T/A's....it's still gonna be majority evo/dsm!

 

Agreed. If too many boy racers come to the meet, it becomes a major problem no matter what you say. I would probably have to skip this one if that happens. The same thing happening again from the last meet at Dick's (Schaumburg).
Whenever i attend a BMW meet it is usually just BMW enthusiast. Members are more behave and responsible no matter how old or young they are, because they are identified with the car club they have joined. Not too keen for a club meet that is going to be an all for one.

 

i agree with keeping this JUST evo's. how about that idea? would be cool to meet just evom ppl and check out their cars and do the cruise and........ i'm gettting the feeling that this is going to turn into streets. i might have to pass

if i do go,no pics for me cuz i still haven't installed my new front bumper! i'll be the pos evo in the back of the pack. haha i hope everything works out and get to meet everyone.

Acutally, I would like to see other car's too, DSM's, V8's whatever, IF YOU can act like an Adult, no burn-out's or rev'in for no reason, you're welcome to come.

 

OK, this thread is turning into the other one because a certain few retarded posts... Lets try to keep the meet to EVO's AND DSM's... with a FEW other cars... dont go posting on every forum, the lot isnt that big! We can setup a big meet some other time but this one is mainly for dsms/evo's

 

WWW.IRNN.NET used to me called www. MWIR.net. about 2 years ago. Now we have switched back to www.mwir.net.

Thats what Brian was trying to get through to you in his second post, but you didnt read into it.

I am one of the administrators on that site and its about as far from Rice as you can get.


Back on topic, I am many other AMS staff members will be attending this meet.
