be prepared for at least 6 hours of labor on the tranny! i don't know why mitsu made it a pita!

easiest way is to drop or lower as much as possible your cross bar if you want to completely pull your xfer case

Oh I expect it to take much longer than that at my lazy weekend rate. I am planning on fulling dropping the crossbar (steering rack and all). Just to make it easiest to get up under there.

Its not bad, just remember its kinda like a puzzle, somethings just wont fit unless put back on in proper order. I have had mine out 4 or 5 times now, gets easier every time.

i think i asked before but... does anyone have any pointers about taking the rear bumper off? i found a thread on here but i was looking for some visuals and its pics didn't work for me. i'm sure i can figure it out but i was just wanting to make it as quick and painless as can be. i have evo 7 tails comming also because i think you have to remove the tail lights to take the bumper off anyway. i'm now trying to decide if i want to get the 7 hood and front bumper. does anyone make it south of indy ever? if so... there is a oktoberfest thing going on in my town tonight (oct. 6). they close off the streets and stuff. food venders polka music and bier.

it wasn't bad I think the food was a bit too pricey. But dollar beers at the beer garden was pretty fun. I got my jdm 9 rear today. I think I'm going to attempt the install this weekend. I hope my 7 tails get here before then so I can do it all at once.

I need to have my clutch replaced on my 03 Evo. Any idea on how many hours labor this should be at a shop. I'm on the north side (Fishers) so any suggestions on good shops. The shop I called in Carmel said 10 hours at $78/hr, does that sound reasonable?

From what I read, and having been through it now myself, I would say 10 hours is a fair estimate. Its a big job!
